Peer Support Workers, who bring their own lived experience of mental health problems and recovery to their practice, were a key part of the EMPOWER intervention. This short film explains why.

Recently members of the EMPOWER team were privileged to attend the the International Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ISRII) conference in Auckland, New Zealand. Andrew Gumley shared new data on engagament with the EMPOWER intervention.
The EMPOWER study involves an international partnership, working between Scotland and Australia. Three members of the team have been fortunate enough to visit Melbourne where research on EMPOWER is underway.
