Peer Support in EMPOWER

We are delighted to share the latest in series of videos describing and sharing learning from the EMPOWER study. Peer Support Workers, who bring their own lived experience of mental health problems and recovery to their practice, were a key part of the EMPOWER intervention. This short film explains why.

We would like to acknowledge the contributions of everyone who took part in the video series, including David Thomson, Alison Wilson-Kay, Gerry McGreechin, Simon Bradstreet and Andrew Gumley. Thanks also to Rachael Magennis and the LEADS team for video production and to Suzy Syrett for post production support.
