Summer 2019 events

Heads up everyone! We’re holding a series of “Digital technology and psychosis: what’s happening now?” events across England and Scotland over July and August 2019.

If you’re interested in psychosis and the part digital technology plays in how we support those who experience psychosis now, and in the future, then there’ll be plenty to spark your interest. Our speakers will cover a variety of important areas including the challenges and ethical issues digital technology brings. This is an interactive event so we’re looking forward to hearing your opinions on these issues as well as any hopes or concerns you might have as digital technology develops in this field.

The events will all feature speakers and delegates local to each site plus our Glasgow EMPOWER Team will be at every event. We’ll bring you up to speed with all things EMPOWER and offer you a variety of opportunities to have your views on EMPOWER’s current progress heard and share your thoughts on how it might develop going forward.

We’ll be in Coventry on the 22nd July (Eventbrite registration is now open and can be found here), Edinburgh on the 21st August and Manchester (tbc). Each event is free to attend and will take place over 3 ½ hours. We’ll supply a free lunch and a refreshment/comfort break to give you plenty of time to network and chat with our speakers and the other delegates attending.
